CELEBRATION :  every year, first Sunday in May.

MISSION : To bring good health, joy and world peace through laughter.

Thousands of people are gathering around the world to show solidarity and commitments towards this goal.

Laughter Yoga is an effective routine that brings complete physical, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing by instantly reducing stress, bringing more oxygen , strenghtening the immune system, fighting depression and creating a network of caring and sharing society.

Laughter Yoga is not about happiness, it’s about joy; it is easy to become joyful through Laughter exercices and develop childlike playfulness; joyfulness through laughter is the fastest way to create a positive state of mind; joy teaches us to enjoy what we have today and every day; it gives life a new purpose and meaning; it makes the world seem a better place .

Laughter is a universal language that brings together people from all over the world.

World Laughter Day was create in 1998 by Dr Madan Kataria, founder of worldwide Laughter Yoga movement http://www.laughteryoga.org ; the celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through Laughter; its popularity grown exponentially with the international Laughter Yoga movment and is celebrated in more than 60 countries around the world.

Laughter is a positive and powerful emotion that has all the ingredients required for individuals to change themselves and change the world in a peaceful and positive way.

Laughter is an universal language , which has the potential to unite humanity without religion. Laughter can establish a common link between various religions and create a new world order.
