Who can Benefit from Art-Therapy?
Art therapists are of a unique and incontrovertible value to all clients who have limited possibility of verbal expression or whose preferred means of expression is not language, i.e. children, immigrants, natives, people with cranial trauma, etc.
However, they also work with all problems encountered by psychologists, psychotherapists and social workers: psychiatric patients, adolescents in youth shelters, seniors with cognitive troubles, women with domestic and sexual violence issues, community centers offering various types of services to various types of clients, cancer patients and their families, grief-related issues, personal development issues, divorce or separation issues, hospitalized children and much more.
